For instance, in a scenario where a court date is abruptly moved forward due to unforeseen circumstances, applying the scientific method becomes a structured approach to preparing the case for court. Wang (2017) asserts that during a problem-solving incident, it is paramount for an individual to analyze the challenging issue in the first case and, in turn, generate the best viable solutions to counter the problem. Upon completion of analyzation, it is also vital to select and implement the solution and finally evaluate its effectiveness. Thus, in the context where a court date undergoes abrupt changes, one should consider the changed date, conduct research on the reasons behind the abrupt changes, hypothesize what solutions may be appropriate for it, who all needs to be contacted, and propose the diverse alternative ways the case can go due to unforeseen circumstances.

 

In cases where collaboration is necessary, strong oral communication skills become crucial. Wang (2017) emphasizes the significance of good speaking skills, as they are essential in problem-solving contexts. In this assignment, you will analyze a scenario and use critical thinking to propose a course of action.To benefit from critical thinking, you must be able to communicate your thoughts verbally as well as in writing. Presentations give you an opportunity to focus your thoughts into a few key ideas, then provide a verbal explanation of those ideas. As a presenter, you may be expected to face an audience and speak in person, or you may need to share your ideas remotely. Visual presentation software can be used effectively with speaker notes and audio recordings to enhance the quality of your presentations. As you become more familiar with using tools for making presentations, you’ll find it easier to prepare your thoughts to share with a group.

Your team meets, discusses the requirements of the assignment, and assigns tasks to each team member. Immediately, one team member begins emailing the team to ask questions that show that they do not understand what they are supposed to do, even after repeated emails to try to explain. When they turn in their part, the other team members note that it is poorly done. This individual did not do some of what was asked, and some of what they did do was not what they were asked to do or it was not even part of the assignment.
