1) Visit https://spacetelescopelive.org/Links to an external site. Select either What is Hubble Observing Right Now? or What is Webb Observing Right Now? For the one you chose, please review the Target (what object is being observed), Target Category, and Research Program. Then, click on Observation Details in the upper right corner. Note the duration time (how long the camera has been exposing for), the Science Topics, and name of the Principal Investigator.
2) Write a brief summary (~4 sentences) of all aspects of the observation you recorded above. Additionally, the Space Telescope Live site will show you a small window of the portion of the sky that the telescope is currently observing. Include in your post anything interesting you can see in the window. Lastly, does anything about your observation connect to in-class material? If so, what? (Its ok if it doesnt, just note that it doesnt).
